Introduction
The Department of Human Resource Management is one of the four departments with a legacy of faculty restructuring in 2010. From its inception, the Department of Human Resource Management offers a four year Bachelor of Business Administration Honors degree in Human Resource Management. The curriculum structure of the program has been amended with the needs of national and international labour market requirements. Students are actively engaging with research and industrial training program and needless to say, they come away with the impression of immense satisfaction and complete confidence.
The Department of Human Resource Management has a strong pool of academics with international exposure including the UK, New Zealand and China. Remarkably, the department is the major service department within the faculty as well as in the University. Further, Department engages in research and training activities as and when the needs arise.
The students of Department of Human Resource Management are with a combination of academic proficiency and personality and satisfy the national and international labour market requirements. We adopt student-centered learning pedagogy that promotes lifelong learning. We support our students to gain hands-on industrial experience for a six month period where students transfer their knowledge learnt from classroom to real world business models,
Our academics prepare the students for the demanding global workplace. The emphasis in teaching is on blending theory and practice giving the opportunity to discuss the real-world application of theories. We give students the opportunity to search for relevant placements and engage with employers in order to gain hands-on experience.
