The Department of Human Resource Management has organized a workshop on the topic of ‘Improving Your Personal and Professional through English Language was held on the 29th of August 2024 Thursday from 9.00 am to 11.00 a.m. for the Third-year HRM specialization students. Ms.Thulasi Muthulingam, Lecturer from the British Council, and a renowned journalist, served as a resource person for this workshop. This workshop aimed to provide students with effective skills and strategies for the accurate and confident use of English in the professional context in which one works or intends to work as a professional language ensures seamless communication during work, being productive at work and learning professional English enhances students’ cognitive abilities, improves problem-solving skills, and boosts confidence. This workshop was conducted through games, group presentations, and role-plays.
