On March 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the final-year students of the Department of Human Resource Management successfully conducted two impactful workshops on Managing Stress and Overcoming Drug Addiction at the Faculty Auditorium. These sessions were designed to educate and empower the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce first-year students, equipping them with essential knowledge and coping mechanisms. Ms. N. Jasintha, from Departmentof HRM, coordinated the workshops with the support of facilitators Bavithra, Nadeeka, Shenali, Priyadarsini, and Lakshayini with the collaboration of Well Being Cell of the faculty. Their expertise and interactive approach made the sessions engaging and insightful. Key topics covered included stress management techniques, the impact of drug addiction on mental and physical health, and strategies for maintaining a balanced lifestyle. The facilitators encouraged active participation through discussions, case studies, and real-life examples, fostering a supportive learning environment. Students responded enthusiastically, sharing their perspectives and seeking guidance on managing academic and personal challenges. Moving forward, the Department of Human Resource Management, along with the We-Be Cell, aims to continue organizing similar programs to support students’ holistic development.
