On February 28, 2025, professors from KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology visited the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna to strengthen academic collaboration and foster long-term educational partnerships. The primary objective of this visit was to explore opportunities for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), student exchange programs, and faculty-led lectures, enhancing cross-institutional engagement and knowledge-sharing initiatives. The visiting delegation comprised the Principal of KPR Institute, two distinguished professors, and twenty students, who were warmly welcomed by the faculty members of the Department of HRM. As part of the academic exchange, Prof. (Mrs.) Thaneswary Raveendran conducted an insightful session on “Writing a Research Proposal,” providing the students with valuable guidance on structuring their research work effectively. The lecture covered key aspects such as research problem identification, literature review development, methodology selection, and proposal writing techniques. The visit served as a significant step toward fostering a long-term academic relationship between the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and the University of Jaffna. The discussions held during the visit laid a strong foundation for potential collaborations in areas such as joint research projects, faculty exchange programs, and curriculum development.
