The workshop titled “Navigating Future Essentials” was conducted on 7th of February, 2025 for both third-year and final-year HRM students, featuring recent graduates from the HR department, Ms. J. Sesmini, HR Executive, IFS and Ms. R. Thurika, HR Executive 3 Axis Lab. The session was designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of employer expectations during internships and future employment. The speakers highlighted essential skills needed for success in the workplace, including communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability. They emphasized the importance of self-awareness, time management, and emotional intelligence as key factors in thriving within a professional environment. Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, the presenters guided students on how to align their academic learnings with industry demands. The workshop also covered strategies for building a professional network, personal branding, and handling workplace challenges. By attending the workshop, students gained practical insights, preparing them for a smooth transition into the workforce, and enhancing their employability and career readiness in an ever-evolving job market.
